Derek Smith is a qualified Geologist and owner of Professional Petroleum Services Ltd. In addition to being an Energy Consultant, Mr. Smith is an accomplished entrepreneur and savvy businessman with five successful companies in Trinidad.

He frequently consults with executives from a variety of fields to help create synergistic solutions to a multitude of issues affecting today’s corporate climate.

An active Rotarian (Past President); Past President of the Geological society of Trinidad & Tobago; Member of Amcham (American Chamber) and STCIC (South Trinidad Chamber of Industry and Commerce); Patron of five NGO’s and the largest collector of Classic and Antique Cars in Trinidad. Happily married and a proud father of 3 boys 1 girl and 1 grandson.
