Prayer

I am Michael Thorne, Chief Executive Officer of Michael Thorne Promotions and owner & a photographer of this website – www.whatsouthsay.com. My religion is Roman Catholic and I am proud of the changes in my life due to a near death experience on Saturday 20th January 2007. I am a diabetic for over twenty four years and on this date while walking to an eye medical professional on St. James Street, San Fernando, I COLLAPSED at this business and went into diabetic coma since unfortunately my breakfast was not as hearty that morning as it usually is for a number of reasons.

The Holy Spirit saved my life along with the medical care given to me by the medical professionals at this business enterprise & the members of staff at the South West Regional Health Authority – San Fernando General Hospital.

Transportation for me was needed and done by the EHS - Emergency Health Services and to this day I know nothing of this experience except what was told to me by those who assisted in saving my life and I am forever grateful to all those persons responsible.

My decision to be involved in more spiritual or community oriented activities has increased and I am just happy to be here to continue this life experience. To the end of last year or in the past, I LOST my drive for life, faith, suffered depression and was living with many dark clouds in my life and this life changing experience has fortunately made me better in my relationships and general outlook and attitude towards life. I really believe that divine intervention is involved in my living experience and also feel every interaction now whether positive or negative with persons are contributing to better life experience for those close to me particularly my wife & children.

The Management and Committee of Whatsouthsay knows, believes & understands that prayer is vital for the positive all all round development of any individual and is aware that there are still many persons all over the country and our world that may not agree but perhaps only when you get a life or near death situation you can appreciate and understand this view.
